Choices In The Afterlife

by Gretchen Vogel, Keene, NH

The good news about our afterlife is we do not become different people after we die.
The bad news about our afterlife is we do not become different people after we die.

We begin our afterlife with the same personality we had when we died. This may include a sense of humor, mental self management, a level of knowledge, coping mechanisms and spiritual beliefs or traditions. We also bring with us all the misconceptions, self destructiveness, ignorance and emotional baggage that we had when we died.

Everyone has a different afterlife because everyone has a different perspective that is unique and their own. Our afterlife reality is as subjective, or viewed through our personal filters, as was our physical life.

For almost 30 years my psychic work has been with clients all over the world and their deceased loved ones. This is the work of helping souls to heal. My compassion for people in grief also became a passion to describe our future experience without the myths and metaphors in a way that everyone could understand.

After decades of medium work and trance channeling I was able to describe the afterlife in terms of 4 processes: self realization, assimilation, healing and progression. I also became able to describe the ever increasingly energized levels of experience where we can choose to be after we transition out of our physical body. The result is my book, Choices In The Afterlife.

There never was or will be any judgment after death except for the constraints or handicaps we placed upon ourselves by our attitudes and actions in life. What we do in life and the learning we accomplish here does echo throughout our eternity. There is also, always, the opportunity for redemption and for learning.

I look forward to my afterlife like some people look forward to retirement. My book will help you to not be afraid of the death transition and may even enhance your attention to your NOW, while we are in our present physical and time based journey.

Choices In The Afterlife can help put your mind at rest about what anyone you love will choose to experience after death. Let my book be a comfort to those of you who have lost a loved one and may it ease your grief.

Thank you for your interest in my work,

Gretchen
